The installation features a wavy LED wall that pulses ripples of light–a rhythmic heartbeat, if you will–that ebbs and flows with the motion of its integrated seesaws. These ripples symbolize the flow of energy between individuals, emphasizing the collective impact of our shared presence. It encourages visitors to reflect on how efforts can ripple outward, contributing to a more unified, environmentally conscious future.
Wave of Joy embodies the generation of collective energy, inviting all to work together toward a brighter future. The steel wireframe, made from recycled steel, will return to a metal recycling plant after de-installation, reinforcing the cycle of reuse and minimizing waste.
