About Us
Welcome to MERO Studios. We repurpose materials into objects and experiences that provoke dialogue around sustainability and material health. Founded by Megan Dang and Rose Zhang of Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation, our female-led practice is grounded in research to create thoughtful and experimental designs. Driven by curiosity, craft, and a commitment to a circular future, we aim to challenge conventional material narratives and shape more resilient ways of building and living.

Who We Are

Megan is an architectural designer specializing in commercial interiors. She’s worked at leading architecture studios in Copenhagen, New York City, and Ho Chi Minh City, bringing a global perspective to every project. Her design approach centers on material integrity, precision, and a belief that space should support both human and environmental health.

Megan holds a BFA in Interior Design with a sustainability minor from Pratt Institute, and a Master of Architecture from Columbia GSAPP.
 Rose is a multidisciplinary designer with expertise spanning graphic and architectural design across various industries, including fashion, healthcare, and public relations. Recently, she has collaborated with industry leaders to develop interactive and immersive consumer experiences, emphasizing creating engaging, healing, and safe environments for all users. Rose holds a Master of Architecture from Columbia University GSAPP and is EDAC certified and a WELL Accredited Professional (WELL AP).
